My attempts to upgrade landed me in Rawhide instead of Branched.
My last one, on a Core2Duo, did too, but I caught it right away and fixed the repo
configs with dnf config-manager IIRC followed by simply dnf upgrade
--releasever=38 --skip-broken. There was one new package that makes kernel locking
more complicated.
Can you elaborate on what you did?
Not with any more detail than contained in the relevant period in .bash_history. A *lot* has transpired in the mean time.

Thanks,

I just now did a fresh install of the latest branched version, and the repos are still pointing to rawhide.

I'm gonna let it go for now.  None of this is on a production machine, anyway.
