Using virtio (including to switching to QXL after?) avoids this. KDE Lives do not display (heh) this behavior. The crash appears several (or 100+) times in abrt. 6. xorg-x11-server — https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2067151 — NEW Basic graphics mode broken for KDE (BIOS/UEFI) and GNOME (UEFI+X11) Basic graphics mode in F36 KDE is broken universally. For GNOME, it is broken, but only on X11+EFI. It is unclear if these are the same or separate issues.
