Hey folks! So, you may have heard there's been a bit of a kerfuffle lately around the Freenode IRC network. If you didn't see the general announcement, Fedora is officially moving to Libera.chat - https://libera.chat . To this end, the official QA IRC channel is now #fedora-qa on Libera.chat, not Freenode. Blocker review meetings will be held in #fedora-blocker-review on Libera.chat, and team meetings in #fedora-meeting on Libera.chat. The official Matrix room - #fedora-qa on matrix.org - was formerly bridged to #fedora-qa on Freenode, but is not any more. Currently it is not bridged to any IRC channel. Infra folks are working on switching it to bridge to #fedora-qa on Libera.chat instead, and we hope that will be operational soon. To access Libera.chat, just add a new network to your IRC client's network list with address irc.libera.chat and port 6697. You can set up an account and authentication much the same as how it used to work on Freenode. For more info see https://libera.chat/guides .
