Hi All,
I just wanted to drop a quick note and introduce myself. I have been using Linux for various things since my first install of RedHat 4.2 on a Cyrix 486.
Lately I've been testing and filing bugs on Pipewire, using rawhide at first and now F34. I'm excited to see all the progress that's been made so far and the push to use it as default.
I'd like to join the QA groups in FAS so I can start some discussions and improve some of the test cases to cover concurrent use of alsa+pulse, or pulse+jack APIs. This area looks promising but isn't quite ready yet. I'm filing bugs on the upstream project
(Ardour Crashes if Firefox plays audio to the same device (#803) · Issues · PipeWire / pipewire · GitLab) directly since Wim is actively updating the RPMs after he commits fixes.
