Hello David,
A good place to discuss things about Fedora is discussion.ferdoraproject.org. It is a forum designed specifically for this type of content and also lets the rest of the community see what you are trying to solve, so maybe someone else has gone through what you are having difficulty with and vice-versa.
Regards,
Stephen

I have posted several emails in the past few months, that werepersonal in nature about my experiences with Rawhide, and variousFedora concepts or software, instead of posting about any specificway to correctly use Fedora, or to fix a bug, or to report a bug.It has been pointed out to me that I should write these postin a different forum.I could write them in my blog, but nobody would read that.As an example, today was my first day to tinker with appimagesand obviously my first time to tinker with them in Fedora, and inmy case on Rawhide. My first experience with appimages was unpleasant. But at thesame time, I got to use the latest versions of two applications, Kritaand Firefox. I am in the Firefox 81.0 appimage right now and havebeen for most of the evening. I had a few moments were I couldnot print and a few moments it seemed to have crashed. I thinksome of the settings vanish when I close it and re-launch it.Is there a place on the list-server where users can rant about thingsin Fedora, and even complain about things. The folks advertising appimages say it is the best invention sincesliced-bread. But when I looked on the appimage hub, I did notfind any applications that I wanted to run.It would seem using appimages in Rawhide is a good example ofhow they can be used, as running the executable file doesn't affect theoperating system, and the developers of Rawhide don't have to worryabout repackaging Golden Dictionary. ( I could not get that one to workas an appimage ), but Rawhide seems to have the most recent version.I now have about 40 man-hours running Rawhide on a Ryzen 3 1200AFASUS X570 computer. No issues to report.David Lockleara novice user of Rawhide as my only operating system
