nightlies always links to the most recently built images. We do not
create a validation event for every compose (to avoid having so many it
becomes overwhelming). So the current validation event is usually for a
compose that isn't quite the most recent one.

The announcement email says:

and indeed you can:

that (short) table contains all the download links.
