Related to Workstation image oversize bug [1] and the related Go/NoGo meeting, I'd like to propose to rename the image-related term "target size" to "maximum size". The rename would affect the following pages:
I believe "target size" doesn't convey the meaning properly. For release-blocking purposes (and I'm not aware of any other purposes), this is really a hard stop. Exceeding the limit is an automatic blocker. That's why I believe it should be called "maximum size", to make it clear. There might also be a psychological impact on relevant SIGs, where "target size" can motivate you to keep the image size more-or-less around the number, while "maximum size" clearly tells you it's a hard stop, and that you don't _need to_ keep it as close as possible.
Images which are on a long-term basis extremely close to the limit should be a point of concern, because the limit might be exceeded at the most inconvenient time by any library change, and I believe "maximum size" communicates that much better.
Thoughts?
