This is apparently due to a kernel bug specific to VMs using the virtual 'video adapter' that openQA uses ('std' / 'vga'). I can reproduce it by booting a 20171121.n.0 image in such a VM locally; if I change the VM to use 'qxl' or 'virtio' graphics it boots fine. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1516584 I'm hoping kernel folks can fix this quickly, otherwise we'll have to tinker around with different graphics adapters in openQA to get useful test results again. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | XMPP: adamw AT happyassassin . net http://www.happyassassin.net _______________________________________________ test mailing list -- test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to test-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
