Hi, i noticed some wierd behaviour when i use "dnf". It feels like it
does not matter if i do a dnf update or dnf install etc. - the mate
panel crashes all the time. So i reported a bug and the system found a
duplicate, so it added me with some information. And because i am happy
to have fedora, i tried my best to help the developer to get the
information he requires to solve the problem.

Unfortunately, it started to become a ping pong and the developer felt
personally attacked. The developer closed the bug as NOTABUG, which
feels very wrong to me.
So i made a comment what, in my sight, went wrong here.
Still, the mate panel crashes all the time when i use dnf. It is not
critical for me as the panel all the time gets restarted. But i could
imagine this could lead to other problems (exploits, other applications
that crash etc.) so in my opinion, this should still be investigated
what exactly goes wrong.
