call for testing: login issues after upgrade

Hello,

if there's anybody who's going to perform an upgrade to Fedora 25 soon, it would be great if you could perform it now (asap, before Go/No-Go on Thursday). We've seen a potentially serious bug which prevents logging in into wayland session after upgrade. The bug report is here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1394755

However, we can't reproduce it, we don't know what triggers it. We only know that after one login to X11 session, the problem is permanently gone, and you can use also Wayland session since then. We suspect it could be related to gstreamer (codecs), but we don't know. We've performed numerous clean system upgrades (including installing the suspected packages first) and could not reproduce it. So this only seems to affect real working systems (maybe some existing configuration file problem).

If anybody hits the same problem, please don't make it disappear by using X11 session. Instead:
* gather a journal after a frozen system during login (hard reset, then `journalctl -b -1`)
* back up all dot-files from your home, and also /etc and probably whole /var, to figure out whether this is a configuration/temporary file problem. You can then compare the directories to figure out which files changed once the problem is gone.
* switch to TTY2 and create a new user (`useradd user2`, `passwd user2`), reboot and try logging in with the new user. This will tell us whether this is somehow related to user configuration files.

Or talk to us on #fedora-qa.

Thanks a lot,
Kamil
