Hi,
repeated the same procedure, which led to the Gnome (GDM?) break down, I did totally the same as in the erroneous production. This time the production was ok. As I mentioned, when Gnome (GDM?) breaks down the movie.iso is produced totally ok, I could burn it with Brasero, the iso is ok untill the end of the film. So this error seems to appear statstically, estimated approximately, 1 in 10 runs is nok, How can I "catch" this error? Do I have a sufficient logfile after the breakdown and reboot? When the screen is black and the "system lamp" says the system is running, how can I try to return to GDM?
Kind regards

Hi,
the "black screen" in converting a mp4 film to iso with devedeNG happened again, after it had previously ok. Size of flash medium seems to be ok,
here df -h after booting the system again after the crash (system was running, but black screen, possibly GDM problem?). The size of the flash medium is 32GB. I add 2 screenshots to show the size of the movie directory and the movie.iso. How can I investigate a situation, where GDM? has crashed?
[root@linux joerg]# df -h
