Not sure if same problem, but min is an Intel HD Graphics 530. And I am on Cinnamon, using lightdm. So far zero reaction and I am not even sure what is really screwing up. Most annyoingly a boot sequence goes into an infinite loop instead of failing some components and giving a chance to see what is wrong.
