Hi
This is my first mail in community, and so glad to have the opportunity to join this team and say hello, my name is FQ, and I am a former IBMer working in STG(hardware group), ATS(advanced technical support) team since 2003, the last job role is in charge of x86 server(system x, blade , pureflex) PoC support, tuning, benchmark and complex case Post sales support, as well as technical training. As the acquisition by Lenovo in Oct. 2014, I moved to Lenovo till now.

I am a Linux Kernel learner or fans for some time, but with the weak development background, I have only got the very limited overview image of kernel knowledge, what I most do in daily work is some practice testing, troubleshoot, and simple bash automation, and mostly in hardware and OS level, such as LSI raid performance tuning(bandwidth or IOPS). Recently I re-studied the C, and Bash just for fun.

Why did I join this testing group? Actually I really do not know what I am qualified to do, after scanning lots of groups for days, I guess the testing group is more likely  related with my experience, maybe I can do something as a start point and check what I can really do.

Also I can bring some design contribution for community as I am running a small design team with 1-2 artist(none english speaker) who want to do the contribution in some level.

As you may notice, I am from China(GMT+8), so forgive me for my bad English, and thanks again for letting me to join this team, and the root reason I am here is that I enjoyed contributing  some of my time to do some none-profit works(It¡¯s hard to join NGO in China for me)

Please feel free to contact me by email if you have any question.
