Some moons ago, ssh-agent, was started automatically on login. Now, sadly, it is not. My hypothesis is that ssh-agent was started by Xorg, but now that Xorg runs over XWayland, ssh-agent is not getting started – I am currently logging in to Xorg rather than the default Xwayland because devilspie2 doesn't work with Xwayland.
