Use --best to see what the problem is. If you have updates-testing repo enabled, I recommend you to use 'dnf distro-sync' instead of 'dnf update'. You might not even need --allowerasing then. You should not need --allowerasing once the release is stable. Since F23 is not stable yet, I guess it might happen. But always carefully review what's going to get removed.
