Hi folks! I thought I'd send a mail to the list so everyone was up to speed on this. You may have noticed we haven't had many nightlies nominated for testing this cycle. The reason is that, unfortunately, they've frequently been broken :( It's the same this week. I was expecting to get new images nominated over the weekend or yesterday, but a bug in mock - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208092 - is apparently preventing boot.iso generation, and live images were failing to boot due to a change in dracut. As of today live images should boot correctly, and it seems the boot.iso generation issue was fixed or worked around as we have a boot.iso today. So I'll go ahead and nominate today's compose for testing, expect a mail shortly. The next test images will likely be Alpha TC1, which is listed for today in the schedule but in fact more likely to happen tomorrow or the day after (as branching has to be done before the Alpha TC1 can happen), assuming there are not too many problems with the compose (we usually find a few things that need fixing at Alpha TC1 time). Thanks for your patience, folks! Let's pick up the testing with today's images and Alpha TC1 when it arrives. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | XMPP: adamw AT happyassassin . net http://www.happyassassin.net -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
