Gnome Terminal 3.16.1 (as in f22) doesn't support middle-click pasting of the selection, even though I: (1) Have set Middle-click Paste to ON in gnome-tweak-tool, *and*: (2) have the following in my ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini: [Settings] gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=0 gtk-enable-primary-paste=true See https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Terminal/FAQ#How_can_I_make_middle-click_paste_the_primary_selection.3F Obviously not a shostoper, but rather annoying. (I'd use KDE konsole. but it doesn't handle the scroll wheel, which I've gotten used to.)
It occurred to me: Maybe this is a problem with Gnome on Wayland. And indeed: Middle-lick does work if I run plain Gnome. (And the scroll-wheel works on Konsole.) I guess Wayland isn't quite ready for prime time. (Evince/Document Viewer also has problems on Wayland.) -- --Per Bothner per@xxxxxxxxxxx http://per.bothner.com/ -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
