locate yum-dep
man yum-deprecated
For me meant
ln */yum-deprecated */yumd
added one letter to my yum bits.

I currently use both (testing dnf)
Having separate caches, means one doesn't bork the other.
Thought dnf-migrate can remove your cached yum rpm collection
if not careful.
