I think it does, yeah - google results for "VN7-571G optimus" indicate
so. Do you have the same experience as others - you can get to a
console with ctrl-alt-f2, log in as 'liveuser' (no password), run
'startx', and the desktop shows up?
I verified that there are two graphic adapters.
In Live startup I see lots of lines "nouveau EI PFIOFO][0000:04:00.0]
SCHED_ERROR [ UNK06 ]"
Then the system stops at "A start job is running for Wait for Plymouth
Boot Screen to Quit".
But I can not switch with ctrl-alt-f2. It looks like it is a complete
freeze.
