Rawhide and screen powerdown

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have been giving Rawhide a whirl, on the grounds that it is a rolling
release (fully cognisant of the explicit danger of using it). The most
immediate issue for me is that screen power management doesn't appear to
work. After the "screen blank" time, the screen blanks, but the screen
is not powered off as with other distributions, so the screen is blanked
but on full power. Often the "screen saver" screen then comes on and
remains on, it doesn't blank after the "screen blank" period.

Is this as expected or is there a switch or something that I have failed
to attend to?
