No change in sluggishness, no change in the AVC, or both.....

FWIW, the AVC did finally pop up on my system after more than 12 hours when before it would pop up every few minutes.

Also, FWIW, you have to do a bit more than what is in

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/RawhideKernelNodebug

to get the no-debug kernel.  You do have to "reinstall" the kernel.
