firefox in Rawhide has become unusable for me also. It seems to
have runaway scripts and hangs all the time. It is asking me to
force-kill it all the time. I have had to switch to chrome, in
order to have a working browser. On 03/29/2014 11:45 AM, Robert P. J.

If I remove xulrunner-27.0-1.fc21, even firefox-27-0.1-2.fc21.x86_64 behaves badly. I see these errors when running firefox without xulrunner when it "gets stuck". WARNING: pipe error (146): Connection reset by peer: file/builddir/build/BUILD/firefox-27.0.1/mozilla-release/ipc/chromium/src/chrome/common/ipc_chan nel_posix.cc, line 446 WARNING: pipe error (3): Connection reset by peer: file/builddir/build/BUILD/firefox-27.0.1/mozilla-release/ipc/chromium/src/chrome/common/ipc_chan nel_posix.cc, line 446 WARNING: pipe error (3): Connection reset by peer: file/builddir/build/BUILD/firefox-27.0.1/mozilla-release/ipc/chromium/src/chrome/common/ipc_chan nel_posix.cc, line 446 If I reinstall xulrunner-27.0-1.fc21.x86_64 I no longer see these and firefox is back to its old self...i have xulrunner-27.0-1.fc21.x86_64 installed on my currently fully-updated rawhide system. rday |
