You can see the script in question if you will run: rpm -qp --scripts java-1.7.0-openjdk-<whatever-you-need>.rpm > Can someone fix this or remove it from the install????? As a workaround you can possibly install that package with yum update -t java-1.7.0-openjdk and if not then with rpm -Uv --noscripts java-1.7.0-openjdk-<whatever-you-need>.rpm How essential is a skipped script it depends.
