Chuck and Darryl thanks. I am going to re-install
Fedora 19. It is a lazy way out but at this time
I can't get involved in what could be a long trouble
shooting expedition. If the problem persists I will
file a Bugzilla.

The system:
Multibuting F-18, F-19 and Debian Whezzy.
Proc: Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Z77 ATX
Mem : Crucial Ballistix 16GB DR3 1600
HD : Seagate 1 TB and Samsung 160 GB

Thanks you all.
