Hi all testers,
the "jumbo" update from this morning (Germany!) includes an update of grub2 and grub2-tools to the version given in the subject.
Problems:
1. If booting, grub2 complains about
/boot/grub2/themes/system/DejeVuSans-10.pf2 not found
/boot/grub2/themes/system/DejeVuSans-12.pf2 not found
/boot/grub2/themes/system/DejeVuSans-Bold-14pf2 not found
/boot/grub2/themes/system/theme.txt not found
Well, since you gave the "heads up" I looked at the directory /boot/grub2/themes/system and it contained:
[root@localhost system]# ls
background.png boot_menu_s.png README terminal_box_nw.png
blob_w.png boot_menu_sw.png slider_c.png terminal_box_se.png
boot_menu_c.png boot_menu_w.png slider_n.png terminal_box_s.png
boot_menu_e.png COPYING.CC-BY-SA-3.0 slider_s.png terminal_box_sw.png
boot_menu_ne.png DejaVuSans-10.pf2 terminal_box_c.png terminal_box_w.png
boot_menu_n.png DejaVuSans-12.pf2 terminal_box_e.png theme.txt
boot_menu_nw.png DejaVuSans-Bold-14.pf2 terminal_box_ne.png unicode.pf2
boot_menu_se.png fireworks.png terminal_box_n.png
before the update.....
And....
[root@localhost system]# ls
background.png fireworks.pn
after the update.
So, yeah, I guess it wouldn't be found....
But, I don't/didn't see any error message.... Where should I have seen it?
2. I miss the standard grub2 colored graphical display background during the OS selection (b/w only)
Mine was B&W only prior to the update.
I could improve the behaviour a little bit by exchanging system by
starfield and vice versa (brings back *nearly* the old behaviour, but
only nearly).
