I have only AHCI or compatible mode so I don't think it's relevant for my laptop (doesn't matter the UEFI mode).

Do you have a source for this? I did a CSM install on my new laptop

because doing a native UEFI install was a pain, and I haven't noticed
any particular issues with drive performance or battery life.
