Undoing biosdevname in F19

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Well, it used to be simple to keep names at ethX, remove biosdevname
and edit network-scripts/ifcfg-<interface>

In F19, this no longer seems to work, and I don't see anything obvious in
/etc/udev. (This is on a minimal install.)

But, what's interesting is that if I do ip add sh I get the biosdev name,
if I run system-config-network-tui, it shows it as eth0. I may reinstall
with biosdevname=0 to see what happens.

Aside from that, custom partitioning is fixed, and I got no errors on
install.

Oswin: Doesn't she seem a bit too angry to you?
Amy: Well, somebody's never been to Scotland.
