Regression(s) in anaconda 19?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Since the Fedora 19 rsync now includes pxeboot files I decided to use them to power
a pxeboot install instead of the Fedora 18 versions.

The old anaconda is able to drop packages that had unresolved dependencies.
The f19 anaconda doesn't seem able to do this. I could not specify installation of
the C compiler and development tools.

The f19 anaconda did allow me to accept the default gnome desktop install,
but failed when installing a filesystem package.

I then restored the F18 anaconda et al. and was able to install Gnome desktop and the development stuff. I disabled selinux and rhgb quiet. The system booted into
a new design greeting screen.
