Hi,

yes, we are both talking about the clients running as root.

dnsmasq is compiled with gcc, so CCpp should catch the crash.

I compiled dnsmasq from source and tested this binary (which also crashes due to the same bug). These crashes are overlooked also.

ProcessUnpackaged ist set to yes.

Even killall -ABRT dnsmasq manages to escape ABRT.

I updated abrt* from updates-testing, no changes.

Sorry, just to be clear: you have to run *the client* as root, abrt-cli
or abrt-gui. Is that what you tried? If so, the 'crash' may be of a kind
abrt doesn't catch, I guess. You could look at the abrt plugin packages
and try installing some of those.
