Hi
Additionally, there is some history to Bugzappers as a separate
project
which was before my time, but as Johann has explained it to
me, it was
something of a 'I'm taking my ball and going home!' thing that
led to it
being set up as a separate sub-project outside of QA
.IIRC Bugzappers as a group existed years before "QA" as a project
existed but that isn't really important now.
For the record, the current incarnation of BugZappers dates to March
2008:

The previous incarnation dates to July 2005:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/triage/2005-July/000000.html
that incarnation got very little traction, the list archives are '2
mails a month' stuff all the way from Sept 2005 through April 2008.
"Fedora QA" appears to have been birthed by Will Woods on Dec 4, 2006:

oh, from such tiny acorns...
(yes, I love this history stuff, is it obvious by now?)
So yeah, technically 'BugZappers' predates 'QA', but the original
BugZappers seems to have been almost DOA.
I must have been high back in the day if "bugzappers" predate ga Will
Woods care to comment on this ;)
