Just now I installed Fedora 16 on the test machine, removing the FC18
partitions and making
manual partitions. The result was able to boot and run the XP I had
loaded previously.
I then installed TC9 using automatic partitioning on the free space.
Once installed,
I could boot either Fedora. Booting XP resulted in the BSOD. I will
upload the BSOD
screen dump when I get my card reader working.
p.s. - The same thing happened on my office machine a while ago. I did
not report it
because the cause of the problem was not clear.
