The "smoke" anaconda HD setup showed signs of life but in the end I had to wipe the HD with fdisk before I could install. The netinst install stalled on policycoreutils. The DVD install worked. I left Fedora running with WSPR and audacity active. When I returned Noveau had freaked out again.
