Sometimes, when something goes wrong there is a need to edit grub boot
menu items. Unfortunately, it's very hard to change longer lines that
need to be folded. This happens in Fedora 17 installed on my physical
computer and in Rawhide in qemu/kvm vm. It is very hard to find the
right position of the cursor above the place I'd like to change.

Is there any way to make editing grub menu entries during boot easier?

yum install gpm
systemctl enable gpm.service
systemctl start gpm. service

you now have a mouse to position where you want.
