rawhide report: 2012-06-26: grub2-rc1 and control-center problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've installed rawhide throught the method of using fc17 x86_64 netboot.iso and specifying inst.repo=<local rawhide http mirror>

currently works like a charm.

In the current rawhide: control-center has some serious problems. Authentication dialogues for unlock requests put the dialog box behind the main box and it wont bring the dialog to the front. Trying to add a new user via system settings doesn't correctly place the new user dialog -- its half over the top banner of system settings, and simultaneously behide the rest of the SS box -- totally unuseable.

I've downloaded grub-2.00-rc1 from GNU and gotten it to compile, install and run fine on rawhide. Only one or two fedora specific patches will have to be integrated.

Thunderbird is occasionally unstable and just disappears with not trace or ABRT notice.

Fedora rawhide x86_64 in a VirtualBox 4.1.18 guest, using the rpmfusion virtualbox-guest-additions binary package, since vbox 4.1.18 guest additions won't compile right against kernel 3.5.0-git3

Anyone want me to file bugzillas for these?
