Noticed twice since last few days that when an image is in the clipboard (i had cut out a portion of image to create new one in Gimp), gpaste daemon is ballooning to almost 1.5 - 1.8 GB! The image size was < 1 MB in both cases. This happened both times when after the cut operation had left the system idle for sometime (auto screen lock enabled).
$ rpm -qa | grep gpaste
gpaste-2.8.1-1.fc17.x86_64
gnome-shell-extension-gpaste-2.8.1-1.fc17.noarch
gpaste-libs-2.8.1-1.fc17.x86_64
