Just installed the latest beta to disk and did an update....  I assume you are using
GNOME....

I click on the network icon in the upper right, pick "network settings".  Then, click
on + in the lower left.  This brings up a box with "Interface" and combo box with VPN
already selected.  I click "create" and "Choose a VPN Connection Type" box opens with
OpenVPN being one of the choices.

You're not getting those choices?
