A number of problems with RC3 (64 bit clean install Core I5)

1. The grub boot level command line editing is broken.
Characters do not appear where they should be.

2.Recurring complaints about write cache on /dev/sdc.
There are only two hard drives on this system.

3. Add/remove software sometimes fails complaining
about authorization when it did not prompt for a password.

4. While attempting to compile WSPR: Missing pythoon module
that was present in earlier versions of Fedora 16 and 17?
 File "f2py.py", line 6, in <module>
    import f2py2e
ImportError: No module named f2py2e

These problems are with RC3. I have not run "yum update". Should I?
