Recently pxeboot install of Fedora 17 has started working using root= the LiveOS img file. I was able to get the current WSPR source code to compile and run. While WSPR was running, I switched to another Xfce workspace and started browsing the internet. After a while Fedora stopped responding to the keyboard or mouse clicks. The mouse cursor still worked but without mouse buttons or keyboard Fedora was not responsive. The WSPR was still running and it turned on my transmitter as usual. Not being able to control it <modulo reset button> I felt a bit like the astronaut asking Hal to open the pod bay door :-) BTW - the Xfce default desktop still has blank icons for the terminal and browser in the bottom toolbar.
