Then a few more messages, but no LUKS passphrase prompt yet.

The only differences in installing default GNOME Desktop compared with
TC2: I added a LUKS encrypted /home volume, because entering the
alternative passphrase worked with RC2. And I enabled the repositories
"fedora" plus "updates".

Next I'll try to reinstall without enabling "updates".

For general testing it's usually the best thing to install from a live
image or from the DVD and not to use any remote repositories. That way
we can be reasonably confident what packages you install. If you do a
network install of a 'TC' or 'RC' you are not really getting that TC or
RC at all, you're getting a fairly random collection of whatever happens
to be in the official repos at that moment in time on your particular
mirror.

I can confirm ConsoleKit is missing from the Desktop Live RC2. It's no longer pulled in by network manager yet the default /etc/pulse/default.pa tries to load module-console-kit.so from pulseaudio [1]

Pulseaudio needs to require ConsoleKit, or the console kit module split off with its own requires and the defailt.pa changed.

Its not present in the KDE spins as the KDE network manager still has this dependency.
