Did you do a network install? If so you likely got an older systemd
and
hence are hitting https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788829
.
DVD image based install.
$ grep systemd install.log

Pretty much a show-stopper. Available updates have fixed. I'm running
in Enforcing Mode again.
The DVD has 43, not 41:
[root@adam ceph (master *%)]# mount -o loop
/media/Sea500/images/Fedora-17-Alpha-x86_64-DVD.iso /mnt/temp
[root@adam ceph (master *%)]# cd /mnt/temp
[root@adam temp]# find -name *systemd*
./Packages/systemd-43-1.fc17.x86_64.rpm
./Packages/systemd-sysv-43-1.fc17.x86_64.rpm
Oh, wait. I assumed the title of this thread was a typo, but maybe not.
We are now on *RC2*, not TC2. TC2 is very outdated, please test with
RC2.

One of those may have fixed "reboot", too, as it's working again and
quickly.

From GDM?
Yes. In F-16, there's not just Suspend in the menu.
I have shut down on mine. Is this still broken with latest updates?
What if you re-test with the actual RC2?
