#279: Proventester Mentor Request ------------------------------------------+---------------------- Reporter: bitznbitez | Owner: mcloaked Type: proventester request | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: Proventester Mentor Request | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: ------------------------------------------+---------------------- Comment (by bitznbitez): For easy Karma and Bodhi etc. I have reviewed the following The Bodhi wiki below https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bodhi The easy-karma wiki below https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Easy_Karma I did not see the discussion recently regarding good testing. If there is an online archive please refer me to it. Obviously testing involves : 1. Install and validation of proper startup. 2. Exercise of basic functionality of product 3. If possible validation fixed bugs do not persist in new version 4. If any regression tests exist, perform them. 5. Validate system reboot to ensure not problems in boot cycle have been introduced. What exactly constitutes regression testing from a Fedora for a given product I am not clear on at all. If there is any good resources on that from a Fedora perspective please point me to them. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa/ticket/279#comment:3> Fedora QA <http://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa> Fedora Quality Assurance -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
