Bug 740422 may be a false alarm due to my misunderstanding of bash syntax, I haven't gotten confirmation yet (but the syntax in question is the same in F15 and Rawhide's selinux-policy* packages). In any case, it appears that has nothing to do with the second error I saw in the F16 updates that referred to line 2 instead of 1.
