Can you check the report > and try the workaround? First very brief check: Under the assumption that it's an environment variable, I've added it to ~/.bash_profile without reading all of the ticket. Voila! That has fixed the most obvious missing refreshes indeed. Not sure it's 100%, though. After I had exited Emacs as the custom editor in Claws Mail, a few seconds later the Emacs window reappeared on the screen for fractions of a second. Not normal behaviour. xterm+mc slowness is still there. Also when running JWM (package "jwm") instead of GNOME Shell. Test-case: Run "xterm -e mc", then enlargen the window. Lots of flickering while it takes seconds to redraw the contents again and again. Not reproducible with gnome-terminal. -- Fedora release 16 (Verne) - Linux 3.0.1-3.fc16.x86_64 loadavg: 0.10 0.21 0.35 -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
