Had went back to F15 few days ago.  Last night decided to go to F16
again, but I did a yum upgrade this time as didnt' have a tree compose
(gueses it failed last day or 2).

Anyway, after the upgrade, the system was still slow (still running KDE)
as stated on previous email.  So I downgraded/changed to the most recent
2.6.40 kernel in koji for F15 and that did fix lot of the slowness.
Also don't see X using up as much CPU now as before.
