Printers tend to be ports 631 and port 9100 both tcp.  Looking through
my squid.conf I don't see anything port 3008 related, nor when I grep
/etc/services.

Are you seeing this at squid startup, or after it has been running for a
while?  Could this be squid attempting to proxy a client request?
