Hi,
I updated selinux targeted policy in rawhide and got this:
Running Transaction
Installing: selinux-policy ######################### [1/3]
Updating : selinux-policy-targeted ######################### [2/3]
security: invalidating context system_u:object_r:hostname_exec_t:s0
security: invalidating context system_u:system_r:hostname_t:s0
libsemanage.parse_module_headers: Data did not represent a module.
Failed!
/sbin/restorecon reset /bin/hostname context
system_u:object_r:unlabeled_t->system_u:object_r:bin_t
/sbin/restorecon reset /usr/lib/dri/radeon_dri.so context
system_u:object_r:lib_t->system_u:object_r:textrel_shlib_t
Cleanup : selinux-policy-targeted ######################### [3/3]
Anything to worry about? Does the message from libsemanage actually give enough
information to fix the problem?
There was really no error here. Basically I pulled hostname policy from
targeted. So it reports this as an error.
libsemanage then says Failed! Even though it continues and completes
the reload. Why does the libary say Failed?
What is this error Data did not represent a module?
This is actually a very scary looking warning.
