Whether that would work would depend on whether we can actually rely on
any particular behavior of RPM with regards to DISTTAG, across all
supported RPM versions.  (Unless we want to essentially ban people from
having the same spec across various distro versions and EPEL, that is.)

Also, we need to consider how this would interact with people building
with fedpkg local or even plain rpmbuild.  I think it's important that
those things at least give a close approximation to what you'd get out
of the buildsys.

Otherwise, I certainly would be super happy to be able to purge that
weird macro from our specs and docs.
