Well, don't forget that it's a general rule that these database-driven
applications don't work out of the box.  You always have to configure
it to talk to your database and it's not abnormal for you to have to
run some provided SQL to create the database and set up the schemas.

Maybe we could achieve betterness by storing that kind of
configuration information somewhere, but it still doesn't solve the
dependency problem unless.

So honestly I don't have a big problem saying that some assembly is
required.  On the other hand, mysql-libs is 3.6M (and it's not really
possible to trim that down by much unless you split out the
translations).  The postgres client libs are roughly the same size as
sqlite (about 500K).  If we can decide that we don't care about 4.5M
of dependencies then I guess things would be easier.
