For the build, I think you are doing it wrong. You should: * download the SRPM * rpm -ivh R2spec\*.src.rpm * cd rpmbuild/SPECS/ * rpmbuild -ba R2spec.spec BTW, I see you are running a CentOS, let me know please if you have any dependencies issue.
