The problem is that once the dialog has appeared it is impossible to get rid of it, because if a program is operating in full screen mode then obviously all the mouse and keyboard input is captured by the program, not fed to the desktop. I guess this could be fixed by pup checking if a full screen mode program was running before displaying its dialog box. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 8 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run a program in full screen mode. 2. Wait for new packages to become available via pup. 3. Observe that the pup dialog box appears on the screen and can't be got rid of.
